Yet another poll finds Americans overwhwlmingly support ICE enforcing immigration laws | Eastern NC Now

ICE issue is vote loser for Democrats

ENCNow

Yet another national poll has found Americans support ICE and its mission of deporting illegal aliens who are in the country illegally.  This poll was conducted by the respected polling firm Cygnal. among likely 2026 midterm voters.

The poll found that by a 61% to 34% margin, Americans support the deportation of illegal aliens.  73% of respondents said crossing the border without permission was breaking the law.  58% oppose defunding ICE.  54% support ICE enforcing our immigration laws.  A majority of independents and swing voters support deporting illegal aliens and ICE operations.  When the issue of Democrats shutting down the government in order to defund ICE is raised with voters it swings the generic vote 4 points in favor of Republicans.
