Anti-immigration party widens its lead in critical upcoming German state elections | Eastern NC Now

Alternative fur Deutschland calls for mass deportation of illegal aliens

In Germany, state elections are held at scattered times, with none held on the same day. This year will see elections in five German states, the capital Berlin, two states in eastern Germany and two in western Germany.  The populist nationalist anti-immigration Alternaiv fur Deutschland (AfD) is surging in all of them, but in the eastern states it has been in the lead for months.  Recent polls show a surge that has expanded that lead.

A recent poll of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpompern for the major newspaper Die Welt by the respected German polling firm of Forsa found that the AfD had surged to 37%, giving it a 14 point lead over the second strongest party, the Social Democrats.  The two currently governing coalition parties had a total of 34% (Social Democrats at 23% and Left Party at 11%).  In the last poll, AfD had 28% so this is a gain of 9 points for the right wing populists.

The poll showed the vehemently pro-migration Green Party and the center-right Free Democrats failing to cross the 5% threshold to win any seats.  The center-right Christian Democrats were at 13% and the populist nationalist anti-immigration left BSW at 5%, barely crossing the line to win seats.

Meanwhile in the other eastern state voting this year, Saxony-Anhalt, The AfD has surged to 39%, well ahead of the second placed and currently governing Christian Democrats.

AfD calls for a policy of mass deportation of illegal aliens, and also opposes the "enerrgy transition" to wind and solar which has caused German electric bills to skyrocket.

Germany, like too much of Europe, is being overrun with illegal aliens, who bring crime and welfare dependence. 61% of all welfare paid out in Germany is now paid to illegal aliens. Germany does not have many more election cycles to save their country.
