Radical anti-ICE K-12 student protests come to North Carolina (teachers union encouraged) | Eastern NC Now

school officials praise them

ENCNow

Radical protests against enforcement of our nation's immigration laws by K-12 students have come to North Carolina.  These protests have been encouraged by the national teachers union, the National Education Association (NEA).  Its North Carolina affiliate is the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE).

At A.C. Reynolds High School in Asheville, NC, more than 200 students charged across a busy 4 lane highway in their rampage against enforcement of our immigration laws.  Instead of trying to get them back in class, school officials praised the students fleeing class for this protest.

Will this nonsense spread here in North Carolina and what will be done about it?  Playing hookey from class should be punished.

State governments in Texas and Florida are cracking down on these actions and those who promote them.

Promoting or even allowing these activities creates a danger to students.  Already, one student has been injured in Florida by being struck by a car while in one of these anti-ICE protests encouraged by Florida's teachers union.
