Saying NO to globalism: Argentina dumps WHO; Chile cancels climate regs | Eastern NC Now

Latin America is starting to follow Trump's lead in rejecting globalism

Latin America is following President Trump's lead in saying NO to globalism.

Argentina has just followed the United States our of the World Health Organization (WHO). The WHO was highly controversial during the Covid panic when they adopted the Red Chinese lockdown strategy instead of the WHO's long established contingency pandemic plan based on herd immunity.  WHO Director Tedros had been elected with the strong campaign support of China and was the first person without a medical background to head WHO.  It has since sought to establish wide powers for itself over national governments.

Argentine President Milei  declared that Argentina took this move in order to maintain Health Sovereignty, but said his country would work on a bilateral basis with other countries on health issues.  Argentina is also in the process  of following the United States out of the Paris Climate Accords.

Meanwhile, Chile's new conservative President Jose Kast is also following President Trump's anti-globalist lead by rejecting climate alarmism.  President Kast has just cancelled all 23 of his predecessor's orders on climate and environment, most significantly on CO2 emission limits, saying they were detrimental to the country's need for jobs.
