Trump DOT gets 17,000 illegal alien truck drivers off the road, but same problem at Uber & Lyft | Eastern NC Now

Trump's US DOT's efforts have been successful in getting 17,000 illegal alien big rig truck drivers off the roads.  A series of horrific crashes caused by their incompetence in driving on American roads after liberal states improperly gave them Commercial Drivers Licenses, put a spotlight on the problem and DOT responded.  They are still working to identify other illegal alien truck drivers and get them off the roads.

However, DOT is pointing out that the same problem exists with Uber and Lyft, which are both using illegal alien drivers.  With the truckers, DOT can focus on CDLs, but have no comparable tool with companies like Uber and Lyft.
