"Traitor Thom" Tillis says he may sell out on Trump's next Attorney. General appointee | Eastern NC Now

sets liberal red line

ENCNow

In another move that threatens his protege Michael Whatley's senate bid, Senator Thom Tillis (RINO-NC)  is signaling that he may not support President Trump's next nominee for US Attorney General.  The post is vacant after AG Pam Bondi departed.

Tillis, known as "Traitor Thom" for betraying too many of President Trump's nominees, is also reviled by the GOP base for his refusing to support the highly popular SAVE Act.  Now, he puts down conditions on voting for the next Attorney General.

Tillis' protege, Michael Whatley, is now the GOP nominee for the seat he now holds in the US Senate.  It is very counterproductive for Whatley for Tillis to keep playing the RINO card on so many issues.

Tillis has been a worthless RINO since he has been on the political scene. He was an awful House Speaker, doing a lot o liberal things before he became an awful US Senator. Indeed, he was recruited by ultra-RINO Richard Morgan to primary a leading House conservative, and that is how Tillis first got into politica. It will be great to see him G-O-N-E for good.
