Idaho is latest state to cut off public funding mechanism for teachers unions | Eastern NC Now

NC did that years ago

ENCNow

Teachers unions have become one of the most divisive leftwing forces in educations with their shrill far left viewpoints.  The National Education Associaiton (NEA) and its state affiliates promoting and funding student walkouts to protest immigration law enforcement is just one of the latest political moves they have made.

Years ago, when these unions, like NC's North Carolina Education Association were less political, many states allowed them to collect their dues through payroll deductions.  As they became more and more political and drifted farther left, states have started revoking this privalege.  North Carolina did it some years ago.  Idaho is the latest, with the governor just signing a bill to cut off the payroll dues deductions for the teachers union.
