Far left Soutthern Poverty Law Center charged with secretly funding racist groups like KKK | Eastern NC Now

The extreme left Southern Poverty Law Center has a long history as a hate group itself while contending that mainstream religious and conservative groups are "hate groups". It is a huge advocate of suppressing free speech with "hate speech" laws.  Its online hate against a Washington, DC based religious organization radicalized a nutjob to go try to shoot up that organization.  One of the radical lawyers at the Southern Poverty Law Center was charged a couple of years ago with terrorism for his part in an ANTIFA plot to attack a police building.

Now, the Southern Poverty Law Center is facing criminal charges of its own in federal court connected to its own secret funding of the Ku Klux Klan, Aryan Nations, and National Socialism (Nazi) Movement..  The SPLC was doing this to divide America and to try to justify its own existence.  An Alabama Grand Jury has indicted them on eleven felony counts of money laundering, fraud, and false statements to federal agencies.  They are being prosecuted by the US Department of Justice.

Among the details of the charges, the SPLC funded the organizers of the infamous Charlottesville, VA rally with $270,000.

A couple of years ago, it came out that the SPLC had set up some offshore bank accounts. Maybe this now explains why those accounts were set up.
