Senator Hunt and his family have adopted rescued animals. "We've got two rescues and we love them! Come to the Governor's Mansion and find one for yourself."

The Wake County SPCA and Humane Society of Charlotte are also participating in Saturday's adoption event. As many as 30 dogs will be available for a loving family.
