leftist NC School Superintendent Mo Green downplays academics in his new plan | Eastern NC Now

Green is most leftwing superintendent in NC history

ENCNow

North Carolina's new Superintendent of Public Instruction, Mo Green is not only the most partisan but also the most leftwing person to ever hold that office.  Now his "eight pillar plan" for NC education is under attack for going light on academics.

"The plan currently contains no yearly targets for raising state test scores," noted Locke Foundation education expert Brice Fiedler.  Scores on reading and doing math at grade level "took a nosedive during Covid and have struggled to recover," he noted.

Before running for superintendent, Green headed the far left Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, a major funder of leftwing causes in North Carolina., akin to the Soros network on the national level.  Green funded the infamous "Blueprint" plan years ago that sought to manipulate our state into a leftwing Democrat stronghold modeled on Colorado.  In education, he also funded groups that pushed woke sexually oriented books into elementary schools and opposed School Resource Officers in our schools.
