Now it is MEXICO stepping up crackdown on illegal alien migrants | Eastern NC Now

Hispanic countries in our hemisphere are cracking down on illegal alien migrants.  The Dominican Republic over the last year or so has had a deportation level almost as high as the United States in raw numbers, most of them Haitian.  Chile's new conservative President Jose Kast has launched a major border security and deportation program of illegal aliens in his country.

Now even Mexico seems to be joining in.  Media are reporting immigration raids against illegal alien migrants in Mexico City, with detention of those illegally present.  They are being conducted by Mexico's National Migration Institute, their equivalent of ICE.
