Trump endorses conservative Paxton in Texas US Senate runoff over RINO incumbent Cornyn | Eastern NC Now

Conservative Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has picked up the endorsement of President Trump for the Texas US Senate primary runoff scheduled for  May 26.  Paxton is challenging four term TINO incumbent Senator John Cornyn.  Cornyn was once the chief lieutenant of former RINO Senate leader Mitch McConnell.

Paxton has been leading Cornyn in the polls since the first round of the primary.  The Democrats have nominated far left extremist John Talarico, a state legislator.

Following the Trump endorsement, Congressman Wesley Hunt, who ran third in the first round of the primary, also endorsed Ken Paxton.

Last Saturday, another key RINO Senator, Bill Cassidy, was defeated in the Louisiana GOP primary, failing to even make the runoff.  Trump also endorsed one of the conservatives in that primary race.

Unfortunately, in South Carolina, where RINO Sen. Lindsay Graham is thought to be in trouble, Trump has so far kept his endorsement on RINO Graham instead of conservative businessman Mark Lynch.
