Rebecca Ann Furman | Eastern NC Now

    Rebecca Ann Furman, 76, of Blounts Creek passed away on June 6, 2026 at ECU Medical Center.

    Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday June 9, 2026 in the Warren Memorial Cemetery, Blounts Creek, NC, and will be officiated by Jeffrey Pugh. Pallbearers include, Randy Overton, Steven Jones, Rodney Clark, Rick Barber and Stuart Goodson.

    Rebecca was born on June 9, 1949, in Beaufort County to the late George and Brittie Hopkins Furman. Rebecca attended the local schools and graduated from Chocowinity High School. She met and married the love of her life, Donald Furman, who preceded her in death in 2017. Together they shared over 40 years of marriage and enjoyed raising their children. She worked for many years as a Sales Associate in the retail industry. Rebecca was a member of Ephesus FWB Church.

    Her survivors include her son; Bobby Furman and wife Christina of Blounts Creek; one grandson, Anthony Furman of Blounts Creek, two brothers, Earl Rascoe, George Rascoe, and one sister, Brenda Lewis. She also leaves behind four precious grandchildren, many other extended family members and friends.

    She is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Furman.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Monday June 8, 2026 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory.
