Parents seek punitive damages against school board for pushing LGBTQ propaganda on kids | Eastern NC Now

Last year, t,he United States Supreme Court issued a landmark decision in the case of Mahmood v. Taylor that requires school systems to notify parents before pushing materials promoting the LGBTQ lifestyle on their children.  It also requires that school systems then allow parents to opt their children out of any proceedings at school that promote the LGBTQ lifestyle.  Some liberal school systems have been defying the SCOTUS ruling, but a reckoning for them appears to be coming.

California's Sunnyvale School District in the Silicon Valley initially had meetings about the SCOTUS ruling and initially complied, but after a number of months, they decided to defy it and continue to push LGBTQ propaganda without telling parents.  Now Mormon parents have had enough and are suing the school district, the superintendent, school board members and others seeking money damages including punitive damages.

Meanwhile, the leftwing Labour government in the UK seems set to defy its own medical establishment on promotion of radical gender ideology.  Last year, the UK's National Health Service, after a thorough study of so-called "transgenderism" issued a report stating the most gender confused children  grow out of that gender confusion naturally, and that doctors should not even suggest new names or pronouns, much less drugs or surgeries.

Now the Labour Party has produced a draft bill to jail parents, teachers, and doctors for up to five years for thwarted a child's "gender transition".  This is putting far left ideology ahead of science in ways that do permanent harm to children, but such is par for the course for leftwingers.
