Ashley Dawn White | Eastern NC Now

    Ashley Dawn White, age 38, a resident of Plymouth, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 24, 2026, and is now running the streets of gold.

    Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Oakdale Cemetery, with Zach Woolard officiating.

    Ashley was born on July 1, 1988, in Pitt County to Murl Harris White and the late Martha Joyce Woolard White. She was a graduate of Northside High School. Ashley loved school and Tweedie Bird, her iPad, and watching TV, she loved to talk to people and she touched everyone's life that she ever encountered. Ashley was a member of Alligood Church of God. She was preceded in death by her brother Abbie Wayne White, her grandmother Betsy Woolard Brame, who helped take care of her.

    Survivors include her father, Murl Harris White of Pinetown, sister, Jamie Lynn Alvarado (Rudy) of Greenville, her aunt and caregivers, Sue Cahoon and James of Plymouth, niece and nephew, Adrianna and Ashton, her special cousin who helped take care of her, Dean Cahoon, cousins, Ginny, Matt and Rachel, uncles, Abbie White (Oma) of Washington and Carnell Woolard (April) of Aurora,

    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Spina Bifida Association, 1600 Wilson Blvd Ste 800, Arlington, VA 22209.
