Democrats push measures for abortion until birth & forcing gay marriage on churches in Virginia | Eastern NC Now

When you hear a Democrat tell you they are a "moderate", they are lying to you. Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger, who claimed to be a "moderate" in her campaign but turned hard left immediately after being sworn in is a clear example.

The latest from Spanberger and the hard left Virginia Democrats are a pair of radical Constitutional amendments being voted on this election, on abortion and gay marriage.

The abortion amendment would allow abortion up until the time of birth.  While not quite as bad as the infanticide abortion after birth proposed by one of her Democrat predecessors, this is a very radical departure from the abortion laws in most states.  In addition, the amendment would allow anyone to perform abortions, not just medical doctors.

The homosexual marriage amendment is also quite radical.  On one hand it would repeal the existing Virginia constitutional provision adopted by voters twenty years ago that says marriage is between one man and one woman, but it goes farther by denying any ability of Christian, Muslim, or other religions which abhor same sex marriage on religious grounds the ability to refuse to participate in or recognize a gay marriage  A religious protection clause was in their early draft, but later removed.  The amendment would also treat :sex" and "gender" as different, thereby opening a legal route to legitimize "transgenderism".

Hopefully voters will have enough common sense to reject both of these amendments, which push the Peoples Republic of Virginia even farther left.
