In Spain's Basque region, illegal aliens make up only a little over 10% of the population, but they commit a majority of the crimes. according to the regional government's Department of Security. According to their report, "foreigners" (a euphemism for "asylum seeker" illegal aliens) last year committed 74.0% of sex crimes, 73.3% of homicides, 61.3% of assault causing injury, 77.6% of robberies, 79.6% of thefts, and 94.7% of drunk driving cases.

The breakdown of the statistics to show crimes by illegal aliens has only begun this year after members of the regional legislature from the traditional conservative Popular Party and the anti-immigration populist nationalist Vox Party demanded it.

These figures showing that illegal aliens are substantially overrepresented among those committing serious crimes are generally similar to those of another Spanish region released a few months ago. Crime figures like these explain why a growing number of Spaniards support "re-migration" (deportation) of illegal aliens from their country.

Meanwhile in Ceuta, Spain, thousands of illegal alien invaders are still running wild, battling police. Just in one night, two were arrested for crimes against citizens, one for burglary and one for stabbing a Spaniard. Sanitation workers have reported a sick new activity of illegal aliens, cutting citizens pet cats in half and dismemberiing them for fun.

If Spain had a serious government instead of the wimpy Socialists, they should be sending in the army with some serious rules of engagement to put an end to this nonsense in Ceuta, once and for all.

When illegal aliens make up a double digit percentage of the population, it means the government is NOT doing its duties to its own citizens to catch and deport the interlopers. It is particularly bad when the invaders are also committing lots of other crimes while there.

Rising crime, and by a large margin, accompanies the arrival of mass migration of illegal aliens. It happens everywhere. Those who refuse to respect a country's immigration laws also tend not to respect their criminal laws. They all need to be marked "return to sender. refused"

I wish US states would start including in their crime stats the numbers of illegal aliens committing them. A number of European countries try to hide that data..
