across the hemisphere, immigration laws start to mean something again

ENCNow

Over the past year, one Latin American country after another has announced crackdowns on illegal immigration.  The Rule of Law is beginning to mean something again in our hemisphere.

The latest is Peru, where newly elected conservative President Keiko Fujimori has announced a mass deportation program for the largest group of illegal aliens in the country, those from Venezuela.  A crime wave by the Venezuelan crime gang Tren de Aragua has been the trigger.  President Fujimori has arranged with the new Venezuelan government to take them all back, and the deportation process will kick into high gear soon.  It will apply to all who are illegally in Peru from Venezuela, not just the identified members of Tren de Aragua.

This is in stark contrast with Democrats in the United States who want to keep illegal aliens who have committed crimes here from being sent home, as our immigration law provides for them to be.  Democrats want them to remain here so they can keep committing crimes against Americans.
