Commented on Relaxed Elected OfficialsJohn Valley, did you read the Washington Daily news at link:
www.thewashingtondailynews.com Which tells how the old Council cancelled the agenda for the New Council. All of this is very odd. But it might be a good thing in the long run. It says the City attorney helped with the Agenda. ALSO Director Mike Dail is also resigning from the City STAFF. Does a Cabal behave like rats on a sinking ship? We need a few more resignations in my humble opinion. Yes, Fritz has done a great service for WeThePpl. AND, as we are seeing, no good deed goes unpunished. AND, as seen on facebook, an outgoing wife attacks an incoming wife.

Commented on Relaxed Elected OfficialsFrankly Rino Hunter, I dont see the new Washington Govt suing the old City Govt. Perhaps someone could contact Ellen Brabo's attorney and ask him to consider a class action lawsuit. Here is his public info as shown on their website:

Stan, do you seriously need to know the "motive" of the man who planted two viable pipe bombs in DC. He obviously cared nothing about human life. Perhaps he was the sort of guy who thought "kill them all and let God sort them out." His motive doesnt matter under the law.
The motive of the Biden Admin was that the bomber did not fit the narrative that White Supremacist Radicals were the cause of Jan 6 and needed to be hunted down and locked up in a corrupt and crappy D.C. jail.

Stan, the Biden admin could not solve the Jan 6 pipe bomb case because solving it (revealing who the guilty party was), would NOT fit the Jan 6 narrative. That narrative being that white radicals were the problem on Jan 6.
Not solving it was a cover-up. Wray KNEW.

There is Too much Govt control by small brains.
I read... I think it was about China of old. The emperor blamed the sparrows as the cause of hunger. He said the birds are eating the grain. So he decreed that all people should work day and night to kill off the birds. Finally there were few birds left, but guess what, then came the insects. The insects ate everything. The people starved. In England a religious leader decreed that cats were demons. So they killed off all the cats, then came the RATS and the Black Death.

Its because the complications of Government has outgrown the intelligence of most of the people who are running our Govt. Their brains cant cope with the entanglement of so many newly adopted agencies and all the rules that go along with it. And its even worse for those getting old. It's easier to just vote yes, and throw the money out the window. Easy come, easy go!

Commented on December 8, 2025 City Council AgendaStan,
Changing faces of the City Council will change NOTHING, as long as the cabal of old, is deeply rooted within the bureaucratic govt of Washington. What is that quote of bureaucrats? "Elected people are only temporary, we bureaucrats are here for a lifetime." The cabal wont surrender easily, as their power is addicting. The public must always be alert, because a conman's M.O. is to be charming.

Commented on Making Republican SausageFrom th WDS: Jonathan Russell, "CityManager will resign Dec 8,2025."
I swear to u, this date cant come soon enough. Next n line should b what was often referred to as "the TopStaff." If these pple R to stay on, at th very least they need 2b RETRAINED. They need retraining, to accept that their job is 2serve th public, not b puppets to a big dogs agenda. Even th prior council to this one would say to me "I dont know I'll hav to ask th CityManager." So its no surprise that aftr 8 yrs of this attitude, that citizens learned to skip th council, & just go straight to th CM w their concerns. How he & his TOP staff handled us depended on if your issues were pro or con his agenda. There is obvious problems w th heads of Depts that th new council need to address. Staff were all afraid of th CM (IMO) & thus hurt th public w an "us against them" attitude. Swampy NC has snake-charmers,but th charmers r th snakes itself, charming th Council while threatening job security of THE STAFF. *AUDIT*

This is a quote: "(WITN) - Washington’s city manager is resigning. City council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday to accept Jonathan Russell’s resignation. Russell has been the city manager for the past seven years. WITN has been unsuccessful in contacting Russell or Mayor Donald Sadler. In a Facebook post, incoming councilman Nick Fritz says the city is millions of dollars in debt. Fritz claims the current city council met recently, and behind closed doors, they asked Russell to resign, allowing him to collect a severance package. One of the items on the Wednesday agenda is a budget amendment for the city manager’s payout."

Commented on Making Republican SausageWhen one is local, and having their small town local toes stepped on by big shots, it doesn't feel like small potatoes. If we local people are small potatoes to Kidwell, then that is another reason to vote all the scoundrels out.
I wonder if recent poster, "RoadKill" has thought of filing an ethics complaint to the NC Legislature. **All small potatoes around the World UNITE! ;-) But the truth is: When the top dogs of a SMALL community begin to think of the locals as small potatoes, is it any wonder that this disrespectful attitude spreads like wildfires into all the Govt's Departments, to include the regional offices of the State of NC's Departmental Agencies located in Washington,NC. We really need a reset!

Commented on Making Republican SausageBut that's the point Bubba, Kidwell CAN'T be counted on to fight for a conservative agenda. He plays a selective game. Stacey is a conservative. I don't know if Brabo is or not because she is a registered independent. He doesn't read BeaufortCountyNOW because he believes it is fakenews. He's in Garris' pocket, who we know despises conservative Commissioner Richardson, and disrespects Stan's efforts for us. Kidwell doesnt have an unbiased mind when it comes to our LOCAL WORLD. Kidwell is NOT the only man in NC that can do the job in Raleigh; we need to change politicians the way we change diapers and for the same reason!
I hear there is a well regarded GOP primary challenger coming. Our local area needs to be part of a "Turning Point." New blood in the City Council is a great start, a new manager would be like a side of gravy. Drakeford gone, is a blessing on us. These changes are an inspiration for us to strive for more of it. Fight for your home. "All politics are local."

Commented on Another Political Campaign BeginsI think every 1 here is being a little hard on Austin Garrison. Tho I think Hickman has earned reelection. No question abt it.
However Austin is a young person naive person. I'm impressed that he wants to participate in govt & has the courage to run 4 office. Kudos! He really cant hardly b blamed if the Chairman of the GOP Executive committee has tried to use him as a puppet. I mean, what young person wouldnt be flattered & grateful if he really were being promoted by a person of such influence & power. My advice to Austin is that Hickman has this job sewn up & there4 Austin should seek election in some other position, then I might possibly cheer him on. Let's find another spot for Austin, maybe an appointed Govt committee job where he can gain experience. Hey Austin, always try to see both sides of any issue before u judge. My complaint w elected pple today is that most of them hav come to think of themselves a "trustees" of WethePeople, rather than "Representatives" of WeThePpl.

Yes Buzz, the "Buddy Law" exist strongly in Beaufort County and Washington.
That what makes it corrupt. The corrupt are willing to lie because "the ends justify the means." WeThePeople are just bothersome bastards in the way of their agenda. You will be crushed with lies if you dare stand up. Its a dirty shame that WeThePpl must first investigate who a lawyer's friend are, or who a judges friend are, or who an elected person's friend are, or who a bureaucrat's friends are, before we reveal to them all our evidence. This is a small place and one never knows when one has accidentally stepped behind enemy lines. P.S. Buzz, I wonder what's the name of that lawyer?

Stan, or did we just replace one group of City Manager rubber stamps for a new group of rubber stamps. Will "the STAFF" (code name for cabal), still write the motions for the Council, of which they will obediently read back to the public? It all remains to be seen. Keep your eyes open, and watch to see if the Council meetings continue to be choreographed, as if it were a theatrical performance.

Commented on Drugs, Addiction, DefeatAs a college student, I moved to Los Angeles in the late 60s. I quickly learned that nearly everyone was smoking Marijuana, but no other drugs. It was almost impossible to avoid it because people would pass it to you. If you refused, they looked at you like you must be some kind of a nutjob or worse, a narc. But it wasnt fun to me. I didnt see the reward that they did.
Furthermore, I was working really hard in college to make myself smart, but found that the weed was making me dumb. One day I said to myself: "Self, one of these two things must go." I chose my studies over weed. But I want to say to Concerned Citizen, even if historically Marijuana was a health benefit, it NO LONGER is because the producers have altered it chemically. What you buy today, no longer is, what it was. Just MHO. AND, to add to my humble opinion: I think "drugs" is what is causing all the psychosis in the population. But you do you.
