In the shadow of the political assassination of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning USA, a stain now exists upon our nation's collective conscious, a condition that must be excised, or our nation will not function properly as one of a self-governed people. Commissioner Deathrage: I will be pleased to provide the County Commission with our policy and procedure for Beaufort Promise, which specifically state that no Beaufort County funds may be used to fund tuition and fees or cost of attendance for non-citizens of the US. I need to gain approval of the documents by the Board of Trustees first. Also, it would be impossible for a non-citizen to obtain County funds, since doing so requires completion of the FAFSA, which requires identification of citizenship status. —DL
