On July 26, 2011, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit served an arrest warrant on Robert Earl Buck Sr., 61 years of age, of 160 Donna Avenue in Vanceboro.

On July 3, 2011, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit conducted an undercover controlled purchase of heroin from both William Logan Whichard, age 19, of 3028 Whichards Beach Rd. in Chocowinity and Danielle Baker, 18 years of age, of 1977 NC Hwy 102 in Chocowinity.

On June 24, 2011, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Larceny that occurred at Goose Creek State Park in Washington, NC. The victim reported his wallet, a tackle box, and a rod and reel were stolen from the beach area.
