Mrs. Betty Lou Mills Arnold, 74, was gently placed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 13, 2011. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Kevin Woolard of First Free Will Baptist Church in Washington, N.C.

This year's budget process was pretty much the same as the previous year's...and the year before. The only real difference is that they have much less in their reserve account so they simply plan to raise taxes.
