Fact, climate alarmism, a.k.a. climate communism or climate scientology, is a political ideology, and, indeed, it is pushed by politicians, including those who control governments, especially if the politician is of a socialist, collectivist, or globalist bent. Comrade Roy Cooper is one of them, and so the ideologues he appoints hew to his party line.
I don't think you will find any of those governments denying that water vapor is by far the most important greenhouse gas or that it is controlled by solar radiation. What you will find is overhyping the significance of CO2, someting they do because that is part of the globalist mantra. In recent European elections, parties that diagree with climate alarmism did very well while the Green Party, the one most involved in pushing climate communism got clobbered. Former Czech President and Prime Minister Vaclav Klaus has described climate alarmism as "a budding totalitarian ideology that is the greatest threat to freedom, democracy, and prosperity in the world today." If you want to learn the true science behind the climate controversy, listen to the prominent scientists interviewed in the British TV documentary "The Great Global Warming Swindle" which was broadcast nationally in the UK on Channel 4 and can be viewed in its entirety here: www.youtube.com

Fact. The most important greenhouse gas is water vapor, which accounts of over 90% of the Greenhouse Effect.
Fact. The amount of water vapor in the Earth's atmosphere is determined by the amount of solar radiation, over which humans have no control. Fact. CO2 is a very minor greenhouse gas. Fact. CO2 has nothing to do with "causing" the current warm cycle on Earth.

No wonder Chicken Little is the patron saint of climate communism. You have just pointed out a critical fact, that CO2 has nothing to do with causing our long term climate cycles, even though pointing it out was not intentional on your part.

There is no way to compare the amount of fossil fuel burned during the industrial age to any other time period.

Before oil, it was coal and firewood. In the last multi-century warm cycle, the Medieval Warm Period, there was NO oil being combusted. Ditto the warm cycle before that during the Roman Empire. Or how about the granddaddy of all warm cycles, the Holocene Maximum when it was much warmer than today for 3,000 years. None of those produced the dire consequences of the Chicken Little scare stories of the climate communists.

49 million barrels of oil combusted each and ever day. Nothing natural about that.

Wow are you brainwashed by those "climate communists", Bobbie. The previous natural warm cycle on Earth, the Medieval Warm Period, which was warmer than today, was a period of great wealth due to the warmer climate. You climate communists have it ass backward in your propaganda. Indeed, plants grow better with more CO2 in the atmosphere, meaning more food production. When times got tough was during the succeeding cold cycle known as the Maunder Minimum or Little Ice Age. These warm and cold cycles that last several centuries always rotate back and forth which your science fiction does not take into account.

The European farmers came up with an apt name for those who whine about a so-called "melting planet". They call those nutters "climate communists".

"Woke" Olympics insulting me and my friends, progressive policies causing my grocery cart to be half as full for the same price as full, and that's supposed to be OK. Then these progressive twits call me weird for not prioritizing their "melting planet" craziness. That's looney even for them.

Nobody in the US handled Covid as well as Sweden did, but Trump did much better than Biden-Harris. One of American's biggest current crises is our open borders, which Trump handled pretty well despite sniping from Congressional Democrats, and Biden-Harris have handled horribly.
Anybody whose personal budget includes energy, food, and housing will be much better off in a Trump economy than what we have experienced from Biden-Harris. Middle and working class people simply cannot afford the inflation and price increases of the Biden-Harris economy.

I don’t have enough money to take advantage of a trump economy. Not to mention a melting planet.
And who’s to say another crisis won’t occur and Trump won’t fumble. He couldn’t handle Covid. What makes you think anything has changed?

The differences between the Trump economy and the Biden-Harris economy are huge. There are 1.2 million fewer American citizens working today under Biden-Harris than there were when Trump left office. Anyone who buys food or gas or rents a home or apartment knows that prices have skyrocketed under Biden-Harris. We need the Trump ecomony BACK. Someone expounding on the details is NOT "going off the rails", Bobbie.

RH- makes a good point - the numbers are open to interpretation. The he goes off the rails.
The truth - the economy is not as bad as MAGA would tell you. the economy is not as good as democrats would tell you. A wash.

The devil is in the details of interpretation of the jobs numbers. Democrats want you to only look at the total number. Republicans want you to look at the fine points, like how most of the jobs created under Biden-Harris are part time jobs and mostly filled by illegal aliens. The Democrats want you to ignore that and the fact that 1.2 million fewer American citizens are in the job force than when Trump left office.

One has to be clueless on the way government operates to claim with a straight face that the budget is not political. It starts with a proposed budget bny the president. The House then passes a budget bill that is usually quite different from the president's proposal. Then the Senate votes on it and often changes it so it must return to the House. All in all, it is a very political process.
Whiel GDP, jobs numbers, or inflation are not political, the way of calculating them may be bent politically. The policies of the incumbent administration and Congress also impact all of them. The method of calculating inflation, for example, was modified some years ago so that the new method gives a lower number than the old method. Was the change politically motivated? What does common sense tell you? WOKE - won't be happy until we are all in the poorhouse.

And that’s the problem. GDP isn’t political. Neither is the budget or the jobs numbers. One can make them political by denying these things but where does that leave you? If you can’t even believe the numbers that everyone uses to manage the economy then you can’t govern. If you see a plot in everything, you become paralyzed and make foolish decisions.
MAGA - won’t be happy until you don’t know what to believe
