• "Trump's $50B rural health bet meets a HEALTHCARE DESERT in North Carolina (northcarolinahealthn ews.org) — Greenville's ECU Health Medical Center is straining under surging ER demand as nearby Martin County's hospital closure forces more rural patients into the city's only Level 1 trauma center east of Raleigh. Local leaders and ECU Health executives are lobbying for funding, but say Trump's new $50 billion rural health program won't reopen Martin General or quickly ease Greenville's long ER wait times." +++++ Why would any thinking human choose to relocate to a Regional HEALTHCARE DESERT such as we have here locally? Is the plan to eliminate most humans in coastal NC? Let us die off for lack of medical care, and tax to death the rest of the humans here.

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisRandy Walker is a full pledged RINO and full blown liberal, as is his wife on the school board. No question about that, but when it comes to the Senate race, Roy Cooper is just so awful that one has to hold their nose for Whatley. Yeah, Whatley was a bad NCGOP chairman. Yeah, Whatley is closer to Tillis than we would like, but Whatley at least has enough of a political debt to Trump that I cannot see him going against Trump during the next two years, and that is a very critical time period. Don Brown would have been a MUCH better nominee to beat Cooper, but he lost. I hope Don will be running for Attorney General in 2028, but we are stuck with either Whatley or Cooper for Senate in 2026, and Whatley is the lesser of the evils. I very much dislike a "lesser of the evils" choice, but Cooper is so bad, there is just no other viable option this time.

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisThe Beaufort County meet and greet with Michael Whatley appeared to be a "Victory Committee" event. I wonder if Perreault and R. Walker are full-fledged members now or affiliates like Dority.

"Michael Whatley meets with local officials in Beaufort County. Washington City Councilman Max Perreault said Whatley’s campaign reached out to him to host the meet and greet. A campaign spokesperson for Roy Cooper, Whatley’s Democratic opponent, said in response to the visit: “Roy Cooper is running to deliver lower costs for working families in Beaufort County and across North Carolina.” Perreault and the Beaufort County sheriff also spoke at the breakfast meet and greet event." ========= OH REALLY? Its more likely that Whatley reached out to the Local GOP, who then reached out to their inside man Perreault. Who they may be cultivating as part of their secret committee, useful idiot, and shadow Govt. (There are pictures of participants at the link.)

Commented on civil liberties groups blast new Canadian censorship bill criminalizing vague "hate symbols"It looks like the extreme left hates historic and national flags everywhere. Here they diss many Revolutionary War flags including the Gadsden flag, the 13 star Betsy Ross flag, and others, and historic Confederate flags. They even burn the current American flag. In the UK, they diss the Union Jack and the St. Andrews Cross flag of England. In Canada, it is their Red Ensign. Yet they want to shove things like their "pride flag" is our faces or wave foregin flags at their riots for illegal aliens.
If these anti-democratic thugs get their way, it may soon be illegal to display the longtime national flag of Canada, and at the same time illegal to object to the obnoxious "pride flag". How long until they declare Canada a "people republic"?

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisThree ENC sites fail this week’s Swim Guide tests
May 29, 2026 By WITN Web Team Those sites were the Washington waterfront and Havens Gardens in Washington on the Tar-Pamlico River and Slocum Creek in Havelock on the Neuse River. Isnt it time for Washington Govt to dazel us with all their expertise?? Surely we pay them enough. Why would anyone want to live here? They tax us to death, while they watch the city slowly rot away. There are not the needed doctors, or even the laborers willing to live here and take jobs keeping our homes up. There is a shortage of everything, except for members of the bureaucratic machine. We thought we were getting a new City Council, but instead got one which was quickly indoctrinated by that bureaucratic machine. Every lawyer in town is part of that machine. A.I wont do anything to humans that these bureaucrats havent already done. "Manage the humans"...ignore them until they become nothing more than bank accounts for the City Machine.

AI has no place in the Arts, it has no soul and removes the human element from the equation. Imperfections and "mistakes" make music/art special. I can't tell you how many legendary riffs have come from f-ups and producers deciding to "keep it on the tape".
I agree that AI, with strict oversight, can be used for the purposes of good BUT if unregulated, you'll see why and how places like Atlantis fell from grace. B&N hasn't been worth a crap for almost 20 years. They are a footnote of American Culture now. We used to meet girls there, get our music magazines and graphic novels.....but those times have long since passed.

We need to be careful because there are too many on the other side of the aisle here in American who would love to put a straight jacket on the free speech of Americans.

And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

CT: If the Left is swearing: "Leftist;" "Racist;" "Liar;" "Anti-environmentalist;" "Soulless;" "Hatemonger,' etc, it is purely because the Left prefers to inadvertently, it their constant hamfisted manner, remind you exactly who they are at their core.
It is the great irony that surrounds the Non Patriot Left.

Great news! Paxton is a champion for robust enforcement of our immigration laws, and has used the powers of the state AG to further that cause. Cornyn is a worm and an amnesty whore who had quit showing up at GOP conventions after delegates to a state Republican convention loudly booed him for his awful immigration positions.

While the far left likes to throw around the term "fascist", none of them seem to understand that fascism had a rigid economic doctrine, and today's left very often follows fascist rather than socialist economic doctrine. The climate alarmist movement is one particular example of that, and I have seen some aptly call it "eco-fascism".
Government putting its thumb on the scales is the opposite of capitalism. Government Diktat is the only thing that makes the Climate Industrial Complex function. It could not stand on its own two feet to compete under a free enterprise system. You might want to learn more about what fascism really is before thinking that it just means having a dictator in charge. If you do, you will learn that the modern left's policies here in America are much closer to classical fascist economic doctrine than to classic socialist economic doctrine. Will, neither you nor I are far left, but it is the far left that likes to throw around the term "fascist" without understanding what it actually means.

Nice Bro! 100%! No doubt everything is fascist, Amen, that is well established on this site.
How about this though: Daniel 11 “And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.”

Well, NO, Will. The Green New Deal just reeks of fascist economics, NOT capitalism. It is all about government Diktat. Wind, solar, and other "green energy" would not exist without government subsidies, "portfolio standard" requirements of percentage of "green energy", and such. They are essential for expensive intermittent, unreliable "green energy".
The reason it is called "green energy" is all the green taxpayer and ratepayer money flowing into the pockets of the Climate Industrial Complex. One has to understand the difference between socialist economics and fascist economics. In socialism, government controls the means of production. In fascist economics, the means of production technically stay in private hands but totally under government control.

It’s called Capitalism. If a land owner wants to log their land then they can log it. Unless you are suggesting putting some type of regulation on what people can do with their land, the wood pellet mills take hardwood chips and pulpwood not pine. Which is a blessing because you can hardly get rid of it otherwise.
Without these mills, all this junk wood would just be left out on the ground to dry out, where it will become a fuel source for a potential forest fire. For all concerned, Trees do grow back. If the landowner replants they grow back faster

Virginia Governor Spamberger even tried to ban ICE from polling places because she know they would find illegal aliens there voting for Democrats. This country is so screwed, probably permanently, if the Democrats get back in power.
