German voters should remember that it was CDU Chancellor Merkel who caused their illegal alien fiasco. THey should not trust Merz on really doing anything about the illegal alien problem unless he says he will form a coalition with AfD. Then maybe, he can be believed. Musk is right, Germany may be unrecognizable if there is not a conservative coalition elected this year.

Maybe it is time to get someone with some business sense in a high administrative office at Beaufort County Schools, and to get a local school board attorney who is physically present to ride herd on major projects such as this, not one way off in Raleigh. This school ought to be named the CHeeseman Boondoggle Elementary School.

W: Due to the matrimonial relations between some of the various board members I suspect some members had a lot more knowledge of what as up than others. There's no telling how tangled this web really is.

Washingtonian: No Recall Elections in NC. No recent deed since this land was not traded in recent times.
No one knows exactly what happened since there is no title search in modern history, and no one, with a full working brain, constructs any dwelling without a title search, but ... The Beaufort County Schools did, and it just cost the beaufort County Taxpayers 500,000.00.

Can Beaufort Citizens do a Recall election and fire these Commissioners who voted so carelessly to waste our tax dollars?
With little to No deep thought at all they rushed to a vote? Why? Must we go all the way to Durham to find an attorney capable of suing the County and City Govt? Is it possible for the local people to create a DOGE Dept to protect our tax dollars from the big spending local govt? Did you know the parcel is NOT 4 acres. Its abt 9.5 acres. Does the land has more value as a whole 9.5 acres than it does of just 4. WHO is doing the survey to divide the parcel? Who decides where to divide it? Did anyone seek to verify with the City that $500,000 was their final price? Maybe $500,000 was for the whole 9 acres. According to the online Real Property data webpage, WASHINGTON CITY SCHOOL ADM UNIT owned this land prior to July 15,2024, when the land was transferred to City of WAshington. Why is there No deed available to be viewed?? lrcpwa.ncptscloud.com

Expecting a liberal education bureaucrat to understand business world concepts is like expecting a chimpanzee to know how to use a computer. Why do they keep giving this boob raise after raise and automatically extending his contract? It seems to me the money he has cost our taxpayers should be DEDUCTED from his pay and the sooner they can get him out of his contract the better.

Will, without a disclaimer, Cheesaman is declaring the actual value of this property and would need to produce a certified value to prove his validity. If presented to a bank, this could be a fraudulent action.

Those party colors in the UK are a good example of how the MSM in the US "reversed the colors" for US parties when they started to arbitrarily call the GOP red and the Democrats blue. The Labour Party in the UK adopted red as its color when it was formed, just like every Communist and Socialist Party in the world. Blue, on the other hand, has been the color of the UK's Conservative Party, adopted by it in the 1700s, as parties of the right around the world use either blue or black. The Reform Party has adopted another shade of blue. And one also remembers that Ronald Reagan's campaign colors were blue and white.

How profound to hear the Hispanic president of a Latin American country demolish DEI and wokeness. Great speeches by both presidents.

Names don't tell you a whole lot. A good example is the current GOP National Committeewoman from NC whose first name is Keshia, and she is a white woman. We had a former GOP state chairman whose first name was Hassan but he was a black Christian. On the other hand, I remember in the same week of district court with Mitchell Norton prosecuting, there was a black gentleman in Martin County whose given names were Stonewall Jackson and another in Beaufort County whose given names were Robert E. Lee. Mitchall also prosecuted a white guy that week whose last name was Superman, so he joked that in one week, he had prosecuted Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee, and Super Man. Seeing those names on applications, other than Superman of course, would give someone the wrong impression about race.
DEI is systemic discrimination. What you refer to may happen occaisionally but is not systemic.

Merit.
If JaQuill's application is dismissed due to his name, how would the hiring manager know if he is qualified? I could site the research, but my experience in hiring for my company demonstrated the practice over and over. Or at least it used to. Now, JaQuill's app gets a full reading and he gets an actual chance. James no longer gets an automatic advantage because of his name. Merit does not equal white.
