That absurd 30% threshold to avoid a runoff means we need to look at tactical voting in this primary. I have been a supporter of Senator Bobby Hanig who has been the only conservative in the state senate with a set of gonads. However, who we absolutely do NOT need is carpetbagging loser and special interest hack Laurie Buckhout. It looks like the best way to stop her, given the lay of the land, is changing to vote for Asa Buck.

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished!!
However, I wish to thank Nick 4 his interest n Good Government.
I have little enthusiasm for numbers, accounting, bookkeeping so I must express gratitude 4 what NFritz has done 4 us here n Washington.

The problem wasnt just w th last CityManager, it was the whole indoctrinated CityGovt & its "STAFF." Thankfully some of those r now gone, but not enough.
One thing Trump learned aftr his 1st term is that it was of little help to hav a strong new President if th corrupted cabal undr hm remained th same.
So I say Trump learned his lesson,& in his 2nd term he fired a whole lot of bureaucrats. Our Council needs to do th same. Any advisory committee member who has been w th City for 3-4 yrs or more should be replaced w new blood. And I dare say a few more of th Dept Heads. They r still a problem & are still "working th system" w/out the eyes of the CityCouncil.

But back to Nick Fritz, thank u so much 4 bein who u are. Dont let th corrupt ones pull u down to their

I would love to see Snowden reopened. Sadly now that the powers that be know what you plan to do, I fear that it will go the way of Belhaven Hospital and be torn down before they let it be reopened.

Too many of our teachers are in these radical teachers unions. I would not vote for a teacher for anything unless I knew them very well personally and knew that they were not caught up in this teachers union nonsense. And WHAT are they teaching our children?

Stan: That seems to be about it. They are telling some whopper lies trying to evade any consequences for their corrupt actions. They have no regard for the people they are hurting along the way. I imagine they are going to do even more bizarre and harmful things to people if there is no intervention very soon.

Van Zant: Could there be mendacity at the the core of all subterfuge afloat, like so many varied 'turds, floating in their political punchbowl?'

Stan: The Beaufort County GOP is of NO use to you or any other proven Conservative candidate or anyone likely to fit that description. I have it on good authority that several conservative candidates in this primary are working very hard to distance themselves from the local GOP. Of course, the local GOP is also working very hard to undermine conservatives also; subtly or any other way they can get away with. The local GOP picks its favorites outside of primaries and during primary season. More and more people are catching on that the Beaufort County GOP is without doubt a rouge organization.

The only people disrupting these meetings are Garris and her devotees. The ones she is claiming to be disruptive are only politely trying to have a legal meeting. Having a real meeting is the last thing Garris and her zombies want, because they have been operating illegally and have essentially been caught. They are performing acrobatics in order to keep this out of any official record in an attempt to wiggle out of this tight spot they have put themselves in. Their arrogance knows no bounds.

In the meantime, Garris and the illegal shadow committee are unilaterally making decisions to exclude and harm conservatives. The people that have hijacked the Beaufort County Republican Party are essentially acting as outlaws at this point in time. Some external controlling authority needs to come and review this sorry situation.

When even Hillary Clinton starts to "get it" on the evils of illegal immigration, it shows how radical many members of her party are.

These radical teachers unions are enemies of America and are indoctrinating our children. Their members like Davis and Cornelius should NEVER be elected to local school boards. NEVER.

Williams is not the only poseur in this year's local GOP primaries. Monica Davis in one of the school board races has been a Democrat most of the time she has lived in Beaufort County and only recently switched parties. Darren Armstrong is also a switchover Democrat who was a major political contributor to liberal Democrat State Senator Marc Basnight over multiple campaigns. Davis has even been hanging out at Armstrong's tent at early voting. They are both fake "Republicans".

Lloyd Williams is clearly a Democrat plant in the Republican primary. He could have filed to run against a Democrat judge but instead primaried a Republican who had already announced. Now the other shoe drops. Democrats are endorsing Williams and financing his campaign.

GM: I think you're right. Those presently running the Beaufort County GOP have no clue about the party rules or the party platform. Worse yet they really have no regard for those things either. It's ironic that they are the ones serving as the "official" representatives of the party locally.

Steed: I read an article somewhere recently that discussed what you and I have been debating over: the Boomer (1946-1964) political strategy vs. the Gen X (1965-1980)/Gen Y (1981-1996) political strategy within the realm of Conservative thinking.

The Gen-ZYennials, those born between the early 90's to early 2000's, are the ones really setting "old world" political gatekeepers on fire. They are taking knowledge they've learned from previous generations, studied many different angles and are asking hard questions NOBODY, only a select few are excluded from NOBODY, wants to bring into public discussion.

In some ways, I think some people are genuinely trying to protect the "old world" because times SEEMED to be better. Others are doing so because they want total f-ing control over everything.

Many of our collective heroes come from the "old world". The key to this is taking what was before and making it work in the NOW. It's not anything drastic; it's a kick in the ass.

Van Zant: I have reasonably and rightly concluded that the Beaufort County GOP has absolutely NO clue what constitutes the Republican Party Plan of organization, or the party's platform.

One thing that is not followed AT All by these present-day leaders of the Beaufort County Republican Party is the Republican Party Plan of organization. Some higher level of the party needs to come down and fix this. The people here are not capable of doing it. As things are, the party will not survive this.

Hood, in regard to your questions about CF filings (Campaign Finance, since you're probably not smart enough to figure out what CF stands for), all questions concerning any CF filings have been satisfactorily answered and a $500 fine waived. I have a letter from NCSBE stating such. So you can stop whining over this issue. The initial request for issues dating to 2021. I was not treasurer during this period but I researched and resolved these issues to their satisfaction. Their are NO OUTSTANDING ISSUES AT THIS TIME. DO YOU THINK A FINE WOULD HAVE BEEN WAIVED IF ISSUES WEREN'T SATISFACTORILY RESOLVED. WILL YOU BE ABLE TO HAVE YOU $500 fine waived. You are so full of yourself (didn't want to use a dirty word). You are the most devicive individual I have ever known and your club, no longer a PAC follows you blindly.

The latest inflation numbers show that inflation is down at its lowest for several years, quite a change from the galloping inflation of the Biden era. Good job, President Trump.

These global warmists or climate alarmists have been parasites on American consumers. Their expensive and unreliable "green eneregy" - wind and solar - is driving up our electric bills. RINOs like Phil Berger, Thom Tillis, and Tim Moore have been as guilty as the Democrats on that, and Michael Whatley will be just as bad. We need to nominate Don Brown for US Senate.

Washingtonian, there are pluses and minuses on every politician. That's a fact. For some like Jesse Helms, John East, and Walter Jonees, Jr, the minuses are hard to find, while on others like Thom Tillis and Steve Troxler, they are as evident as warts on someone's face..

The big difference in our NC House primary is how they would vote on key issues before the legialture. We have one candidate with a record, which is solidly conservative, and who wears his support of conservative issues on his sleave. We have another with no issue record, but a political record of support liberal Democrat Marc Basnight, and who does not put a single policy issue on his website. He also sucks issues as much as he can when asked about them. It is crystal clear which one will stand up for us on conservative policy in the General Assembly. It is not even close.

I agree that the provision on legslators being exempt from the public records statutes stunk to high heaven but it was placed as a special provision in the state budget by the Senate. Budget rules do not allow amendemnts on the floor. Only the House Appropriations Committee had the power to amend the senate version of the budget to take that out. When they failed to do that (and Kidwell was NOT a member of that committee), no legislator was allowed to offer a floor amendment to take it out unless they rewrote the part of the House rules that prohibited floor amendments on the budget. If Armstrong is pushing that issue, it just shows eitehr 1) how little he know of how the legislature operates, or 2) that he is deliberately making a false attack.

We need a conservative representing us, NOT an establishment puppet.

I may be jumping the gun here but I'm going to say it anyway:

I don't trust Brabo. I think she wants to globalize the City of Washington and become "Little Greenville". There are already measures in place to slowly implement these alien procedures but the public is too caught up in the engineered crap to see it.

Joe Jr knows this to be true also, he's already ahead of the game.

Yes, I use an alias because when its shown that other alias users
here, attack & try to destroy my "alias," it becomes obvious why it is dangerous to use one's real name n Beaufort Co. These pple
using their alias's would actually try to destroy my real reputation right here among my own pple. So, Everyone should look in a mirror & judge selves. Why so much violent intent?
When u set your hair on fire to protect a "politician,"(when we all know that politicians "serve to serve themselves,") I have to wonder what's in 4 you? WHY set your hair on fire over a politician. We know that 99.9% of politicians would throw their own cronies under the wheels of a bus to protect themselves. Meaning you, who set your hair on fire for Kidwell, are just useful idiots. The question always comes back to "what's in it for you?"
JUST SAY NO to KIDWELL, who voted w the rest of th legislature to EXEMPT selves from PUBLIC RECORDS Laws when it comes to their own
offices. WOW!
Yes, its time to clean NC House!
