Yes we should use whatever level of force is needed to stop these border incursions. As long as Comrade Biden is in charge, however, if Governor Abbot authorized it, the Biden regime would probably prosecute everyone involved in the federal courts. We need Trump back to do what the leaders of Latvia, Hungary, and Greece has the courage and responsibility to do.

What should not be overlooked however is the use of non-lethal force. Why was tear gas not deployed in a robust fashion against this border breach, for example? Being Texas, cattle prods would be easy to get ahold of and would have worked wonders to halt the breach. There are some great videos of Polish border guards using water cannon to blast illegal aliens back to the other side of the border. Why doesn't texas buy some of them? In the meantime, they could deploy fire trucks to have some of the same effect.

Gun rights supporters need to always remember who it was who killed Constitutional Carry in NC in the last legislative session. That was liberal State Senate boss Phil Berger. Berger has just gotten away with imposing his choice of State Senator, RINO Bob Brinson, on our district. Brinson claimed to support gun rights, but all the money Berger sent his way means he is now OWNED by Berger, lock, stock, and barrel and whenever Berger says "jump", Brinson will have to ask "how high?" A really sad day for our district.

Appointing a special counsel to investigate and prosecute misuse of the courts for election interference would do a lot to get democracy back on a solid footing in our country. Biden is operating the same way that Putin or Stalin operate or operated, and even like Hitler.

This huge overspending is one of the major factors driving inflation. Can't Speaker Johnson and some of these stupid and cowardly RINOs see that? And some of the pork in this bill is just disgusting like $850,000 got s gay senior home, $15 million for tuition for Egyptian college students in Egypt, $400,000 for a gay activist group to teach elementary school students about being trans, $500,000 for a DEI zoo (whatever that means), and $400.000 to a group that gives clothes to teens to help hide their gender. Why are American taxpayers paying for ANY of that crap? But I agree that opening up welfate to illegal aliens is worse than all of that combined.

Yes, Van Zant, the NC delegation sucks big time over voting for this excrement sandwich. Dan Bishop has been the only consistent conservative and he is leaving to run for Attorney General.

This doesn't say much for the N.C. delegation. If the vote were closer on getting the bill passed, I wouldn't expect Murphy to come through in that scenario. Anyway, that's my opinion.

There is a lot of awful stuff in this bill, and the worst is opening more social services to illegal aliens, when we should be doing all we can to restrict illegal aliens from getting any of that money. Iceland and Denmark have CUT welfare to illegal aliens to discourage them from trying to come. These idiots in Congress are just creating more incentive for illegal aliens to crash our border. The bill did add a handful of new border agents and a handful of new illegal alien detention beds, but that little bit does not balance what they have done to give more welfare to these migrant parasites. Speaker Johnson has sold us down the river. Shameful.

It is too close to the November election to dump Johnson now, but he needs to be dumped when Congress reconvenes in January.

Actually surprised to see Murphy voted against it. Is he running for re-election or something?

I was hopeful, that we finally had a Republican House Speaker worth a crap in Mike Johnson, but after his sellout of the taxpayers, it is now clear that we do not. This was a horrible bill, and just fuels more inflation.

It looks like Bobbie is following the Stalinist mantra that if you tell a lie enough times it becomes the truth. The badly flawed border bill he refers to was drafted by a Democrat dominated "bi-partisan" committee, with the GOP representation on it a Chamber of Commerce sellout named Lankford, who openly says he sees no difference between legal immigrants and illegal alien migrants. The bill did nothing of any significant to cut the migrant flow and quite a bit that would have encouraged it to become larger. It was pouring gasoline, not water, on the fire of illegal immigration.

Real Republicans reject the notion of doing "something" even if it is wrong, as the Lankford endorsed bill clearly was.

Bobbie, your fantasy is NOT reality. Maybe it is your version of it, influenced by some controlled substance.

Stan, that is just the usual mindless deflection from Little Bobbie. Presumably, he is well aware that NONE of the 2020 election controversies happened in Beaufort County, or even on the presidential level in North Carolina. They happened in major urban counties of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Nevada. Even in those places, the problems were concentrated in particular counties. and in many of them Republican election observers were kicked out of the vote count, a huge red flag that something is amiss.

RINO Hunter: When did you start slandering people?

I know far than most what goes on around here, and I well know slander being often the victim of such, and I have never known you to slander anyone.

"Say it ain't so," RINO Hunter.

Republicans who rejected republican drafted legislation on the issue....so there is that.
I guess it makes such a good campaign issue, no sense in doing anything.

Reality suggests otherwise. Even in Mississippi. Let that sink in.

Completely not true. Slandering your friends and neighbors who run BC elections is pathetic.

We saw how the Democrats stole 2020, and our cowardly courts did nothing to stop them. I hope Republicans are ready for them in 2024 when they try the same underhanded tricks to subvert the election process.

It is easy enough to figure out the insurrection of summer 2020. It was stirred up by two Marxist extremist organizations, BLM and ANTIFA, who were looking for any excuse to foment violence and insurrection. Both Marxist groups want to destroy America,

Those who have nothing but distain and contempt for our immigration laws, will think nothing of violating our other laws as well like trying to steal people's homes.

What is particularly encouraging in this poll is that voters on the left are also swinging behind an anti-immigration party and rejecting the globalist parties of the establishment.

"Whataboutism" is the silly term that the far left screams when they are caught in one of their many double standards. Those who use it are the very worst of hypocrites. A HAMAS apologist like Bigot Bob looks like a jerk in complaining about lesser - even if they are themselves bad - incidents.

A governing party spending taxpayer money to target voter registration of voter blocks aligned with the governing party is political corruption and abuse of office. People should indeed go to jail for that.

When a voter outreach program is nonpartisan, and not targeted at specific voter blocks, such as allowed registration at a Motor Vehicles office, this is nonpartisan, and a good government approach. When the target is a particular voter block, like college students, which have a heavy partisan skew, it is a different matter entirely.

Shoot the messenger, Bobbie? Zero Hedge is just who published the article. The actual information comes from a professional meteorologist Joe Bastardi of WeatherBell, which has probably the best track record of predicting hurricanes.

The Homeowners insurance companies rip us off by using the same digital voodoo that the climate alarmists do, computer modelling, instead of real data. With computer modelling, you can set up the model to produce any results you want. Insurance companies should be forced to go back to using real data, not this fraudulent voodoo. Charging the east a whole lot more for wind insurance does NOT track with their actual payouts on wind claims compared to rates and claims in the piedmont and west.

Oh, and here is Senator John Kennedy demolishing a climate alarmist "expert" in a Senate hearing: redstate.com
