My vote is for Hood.
He has always been trying to save money for the citizens. One can be a safe politician and a nobody, or one can stick their neck out and always find someone willing to chop it off. At least when we call him, he doesnt say, "I dont know, I'll have to ask the county manager (the way Washington council members do.) About those 7 loads of deeds hauled away. Where were they hauled to, the dump? I know people in genealogy who will pay to own old deeds. People buy them on Ebay too. Were the deeds offered to the the Archives in Raleigh. They preserve old documents like it were gold. If they were dumped in the trash or destroyed, then Carolyn should resign for that reason alone. I dont think she had the right to make tht kind of decision on her own. Where did the docs go?? Was money made off their transfer? Or did we pay to have them destroyed?

What they see is a nasty old man who sleeps during meetings, peeps in Womens windows, and disrespects 911 dispatchers and his bloviating fool of a follower. Instead of complaining, make a decision. If you decide to not allow it, the 5 of you can discus the issues of the day with no pushback. A boring platform but if you need a safe space, by all means, boot us all off.

Stan, The issue is that the Real Republican Party is working to weed at those who do not follow the Republican Platform. You and Hood generalize and call the entire party RINOs. All I see is Hood going after good people who don’t agree with him. It is ok to disagree but we have elections to win. Democrats join together to win elections. Hood does not vet his candidates but chooses them on his own platform and agenda. The One and Only True Republican Party needs people who work together as a party. We don’t go after Republicans.
