Just like a Democrat, the RoundUp RINO, Darren Armstrong runs away from gun rights. He cares more about his precious RoundUp, which was the only thing his campaign was about than our right to our rifles and pistols. I watched the city council meeting tonight and of course this very
secretive council approved that secret manager's contract. Yet WeThePpl havent even now been allowed to see it. AND WHY wasnt it
published in the AGENDA???

It appears we have hired a city manager but even now the name of that person is unknown to us.

The City of Washington acts like all of this is NONE of our business.

Also the Council members are so ignorant that they dont even understand that Sharia Law is NOT part of the Muslim Koran. It is a radical offshoot of Muslim religion that believes woman are less valued than a camel and hence not even close to the equality of a Man. ANd when they have the power to do so, under Sharia they will murder all non-Muslims. Yes we are in danger. The Islamist & Marxist hav joined forces against Western Civilization.

I remember that corruption story now involving certain members of the Washington Police Department. There were some other particulars involved as well.

I did not know Harvey at that time, and was heavily involved in siring and raising a young family of millennial children at that time, so busy in my own small world so as not to be caught up in the local news as I am now.

At that time in my life, I wanted to believe the best in people, and did not realize how mendacity breeds more mendacity, and ultimately certain corruption. Harvey's sad tale is one that corrupt fools, and other ignorant Democratic Socialists, like Corrupt Roy Cooper, so easily employ for those folks they have marked to have fear and be feasted upon.

Thanks for jogging the pieces of my memory that I had long forgotten. I reckon Harvey West will not forget the injustice he may have certainly endured.

That Harvey West case happened a long time ago. If memory serves it was in the late 1980s, perhaps the early 1990s. Several Washington police officers I talked to at the time told me the same thing about it off the record. It was a total setup, and West did not even physically touch the alleged victim.

What happened was the wife of a former police chief got caught at that time doing some of the same type things. In order to get her a sweatheart deal to testify in another case, the charges against West were made up out of thin air. West was indicted for a charge that would have sent him to prison for 20* years and given the alternative to plead to a lesser felony that would only involve a few years. He had to weigh the chances of the jury believing the allegations and the consequences, and elected not to take the risk. The police chief's wife got offered a misdemeanor and a probationary sentence.

There were other convenient reasons to make West the fall guy.

The Harvey West Question: Yeah Big Bob, I would give Harvey a second chance, partly because he is a Republican, partly because I know him, partly because I know a little about his case.

Democratic Socialists are suspect because a huge part of their party exists on the largess of corruption. When I see corruption in so-called Republicans, I go real hard on them, and that is proved in my commitment, as I am one of limited number of honest /smart politicians here locally.

That is my record now, as it has always been to do so; I can't hide from it; I embrace it even to my political detriment with those that are corrupt, and still sadly in our midst.

The problem is the guilt by association. Candidates attend an event sponsored by two major GOP organizations and one minor one and it happens to be held in Harvey's back yard. That is the Democrats connection between Harvey and these judicial candidates and it is mighty thin.

Voters expect our elected officials, mayor and council, to be in control. They set policy, and then the city manager carries it out. This contract turns that relationship upside down. The city council loses control over the city manager. The city council is supposed to be the boss and the city manager the employee. In what world can a boss not criticize an employee? In what world can a boss not fire an employee for poor performance? Under this proposed contract, it would cost the city a wad of money if the new manager turned out to be a dud and they had to fire her. The last one turned out to be a dud and was unanimously fired after a few months. That is not serving the taxpayers. This is a terrible contract for the people of Washington and needs to be rejected.
