Good for the Swiss! North Carolinians are being reamed out on this climate scam thanks to Phil Berger and his NC Green New Deal in another way. I was married in the Methodist Church in 1978, and was a member of Edenton Street Methodist in Raleigh until I moved my family back home here in Washington in 1984. I never attended a regular Sunday service at any Methodist church, here in Beaufort County, but I have been a member at 4 separate churches here in my county.

Now, I am settled at River City Christian Center, which is more of a charismatic congregation, loaded with good, honest, caring folks, understanding a message of salvation through grace, and good works paramount in the attainment of a higher calling on this mortal coil.

I never though the charismatic calling would suit me, but it does. It is a very sincere form of a worshipping fellowship, which is low on politics, and high on non judgemental behavior within this special congregation - perfect for me and my spouse of 47 years.

The title of this article should be:

"As the screws loosen"

As the common sense reader can tell, there have always been a few screws loose within the NC Methodist Conference. Between 2015-2020, the Conference began fuel-injecting Progressive politics into the church.....and eventually caused a complete separation of rural congregations/districts.

Noone should rely on the Independent vote to secure an election, think about that one, BUT, from what I've noticed over the years, Independent voters tend to lean more conservative in key age groups. Her logic is both flawed and desperate.

Through her political and ideological retardation, Lib has shown us the playbook of BOTH the looney left and the RINO right. They BOTH go by the public script and BOTH never deviate from it; they can't look "in-between" and connect the dots.

If you really want to see how close THOSE people go by THE script, engage them about why THEY think MTG announced resignation. I guarantee you they'll dance it.

John: I met Tom well over a decade ago, and asked him to contribute to beaufortcountynow.com , which he has done, and I have noticed that the more Tom found his seasoned voice, the more he became Progressive, and now, this ICE post is rather more Leftist than most; due to its serious nature of being a constitutional imperative, one that is rooted in our basic sovereignty as a Constitutional Republic.

What we should be outraged at, Tom Campbell, is the treasonous Biden regime allowing illegal aliens to flood our country by not enforcing our immigration laws. All of those in that corrupt administration who were responsible for not enforcing our immigration laws should be jailed. Now, we need to demand that our scofflaw state officials join in the task of getting these invaders out of our country and back where they belong. Trump Derangement Syndrome is strong with this one. or is this another loony left attempt at humor, like the Babylon Bee? The economy barely survived the socialist policies of the Biden regime, and Trump is just now getting the ship righted. The runaway debt of the Democrats still plagues our economy as well as their idiotic climate crusade that has driven up our electric rates and other energy prices. Driving up energy prices, as the Democrat climate obsession does, drives up the cost of everything.

The Democrats silly shutdown to demand trillions more in spending tells us where they stand. They want to continue to wreck our economy. We need to send all the Democrats we can packing next year.
