Just attended one of these meetings tonight. I am truly concerned with threats to ‘democracy,’ meaning fair elections and constitutional rule, but mostly from the left. This meeting was purely an anti-Trump rally, and the judge said as much when I asked, and I barely escaped without being yelled at by more than a couple people. I was a lifelong Dem also, but these people today are brainwashed cult members.

NARA has made clear that there is "no history, practice, or provision in law for presidents to take official records with them when they leave office."
Trump should have known at least the basics of the PRA. Nevertheless, he held onto boxes of classified documents rather than turn them over to NARA.That alone would have would have been a violation of the PRA and other laws — but what he did was even worse.
Trump kept highly classified documents about military and nuclear capabilities of foreign countries and US military contingency plans in truly absurd places at Mar-a-Lago. Then he showed them to civilians without security clearances, while indicating that he knew he wasn’t allowed to. When the DOJ subpoenaed him Trump indicated to his lawyers that he wanted to cover up his possession of the documents. This article is just bull! There was senior DOJ coordination but Biden was not involved. An action such as this had never been done before--an FBI raid on a former President.Trump had ample opportunity to return documents belonging to the National Archives.He returned a selective few on two occasions but never returned all. He lied saying he had no more documents.He lied and hid what remained.Documents were not subject to Presidental Records Act. Editor--your are entitled to your own opinion,but not your own facts!

My wife and I have friends who left United and went with Global. It's concerning and sad when congregations don't agree and run off to start a new church. (non-Biblical disagreements) But when a large church body (national / international conference) shoots its own self in the foot [so to speak] and drives off huge numbers of their people, it's particularly saddening.

We are told in the Bible that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. His sacred Word hasn't changed. And at end of the Revelation, it's even clearly stated that anyone who adds to or takes away from the Word will be judged severely.

Other churches also change their directions, but this is not acceptable in God's sight when it comes to Biblical matters. We are even warned by the early Apostles that wolves will come in sheep's clothing. Happened Then - Still Happening Today.

I want to thank Hood for all he does to protect the local taxpayers from wasteful spending. Its a good trait missing among so many other elected politicians.

I watched this Commissioners meeting, where Hood merely asked for a motion to provide direct hands-on oversight, by the County Commissioners of the budget, the spending, & the construction plans of the new school, so that unlike in the past, we wouldnt wake up one day with vast overspending, because those in charge hadnt provided for the parking lot, furniture and whatever. Isnt this the way a govt ends up with $500 hammers and toilet seats??

WHY WOULD those commissioners other than Stan, vote this motion down? WHY dont they want to protect the local taxpayers?
It sure seems to me that the majority who voted nay, would rather spoon with an alligator than vote for ANYTHING that Hood suggested.

That means that they arent on the side of the citizens, but rather are just shallow, useless, petty, govt pretenders.
