Mrs. Anne Myrtle Sheppard Brooks, age 72, a resident of 125 E. Eighth St., Washington, N.C., died Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, N.C. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011.
