    Wilmington, N.C. - U.S. Acting Surgeon General, Rear Admiral (RADM) Boris D. Lushniak will speak at the N.C. Public Health Association (NCPHA) Fall Educational Conference about the 32nd Surgeon General's report on smoking and health. This is the 50th anniversary of the first such report. The N.C. Division of Public Health also will release new data from the 2013 N.C. Youth Tobacco Survey. Results show the lowest teen cigarette smoking rates ever recorded, along with a significant increase in teen use of certain non-cigarette tobacco products, including electronic cigarettes and hookahs.
