Joseph “Mike” Burfield | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Joseph Michael "Mike" Burfield, age 69, a resident of 1518 Memory Lane, Chocowinity, NC died Monday September 29, 2014 at Autumnfield of Belhaven.

    A memorial service will be held at a later date.

    Mr. Burfield was born in Williamsport, PA on July 27, 1945 son of the late John Francis Burfield and the late Elizabeth Ann Beaton Burfield. He was a retired plant manager in the medical manufacturing industry.

    Surviving Mr. Burfield is a sister: Judith M. Kelly and husband Mike of Imperial, PA and two grandchildren: Nichole McKinley and Garrett Burfield. He was predeceased by four children: John David Burfield, Michael Paul Burfield, Joseph Daniel Burfield and Jennifer Ann Burfield; two brothers: Jon David Burfield and Michael Joseph Burfield; two sisters: Elizabeth Welliber and Mary Helen Burfield and a grandson: Wyatt Burfield.

    In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to the American Heart Association, 3219 Landmark Street, Unit # 9, Greenville, NC 27834.
