Sea Change in our Nation's Capitol | Eastern North Carolina Now

After tonight's midterm election results, it is plainly clear, America wants real change.

After tonight's midterm election results, it is plainly clear, America wants real change. Not the 'real change, you can believe in' from the early days of the failed Obama administration, but the substantive wisdom of adults, minus the slogans and the cheer leading, including their populist histrionics that nearly always amounts to nothing real.

Come Wednesday morning, the Republicans will celebrate a 'wave election', where they have nearly reversed the tables in the Senate to take a solid majority, and in the House where they picked up 12 seats to reach a majority for the Republicans not realized for nearly 70 years. Also factor in gubernatorial seats picked up for Republicans, and a firm message has been sent loud and clear; It is time for the Democrat children, who feign governing, to go home, and it is high time for the Republican adults to step to the fore, and set a better course for our nation now, or risk losing the Republic.

Now, in the U.S. Senate, Hapless Harry Reid will sit down as majority leader, taking with him the ability to obstruct legislation, which has been the under reported hallmark of his administration. Now the Republican Senators, with a firm 2 to probably a 4 seat majority (depending on Alaska and Louisiana), will now have to govern wisely and well to bring into fruition legislation to set a better, more realistic path forward for our Republic.

It truly is the time for the adults to wrest control from those deposed Democrat children, who have governed so poorly, and obstructed all over-site of a presidency rife with scandal, and spoiling to go down in history as the most ineffective in modern times.

These last two years for this amateur president, Barack Hussein Obama, will prove to two of the toughest of his very short, and most inexperienced, political career.
