The Senate race now gives the Legislative Branch of government power it has not had in a while. Thom Tillis is interesting because of the mega-bucks expended by the rich to get him into place.
Here are the real questions they must address: (1) The VooDoo Tax code is NOT WORKING. It had a good theory behind it, but the GREED of the Rich and Corps quickly used them NOT to hire and build in the US borders. In addition, the rich are banking Offshore for tax breaks. Therefore, the US infrastructure is falling apart. Will they had the wisdom to close the big holes in the dyke sending a wave of debt across America. Now, they can't blame the President for the disaster. The ball is clearly in their court. (2) Our re-elected House Representative, Mr. Jones, has clearly stated his view that they need to start Impeachment charges against the President. He is a Constitutional Law specialist and clearly knows what it says. I fail to see anything they might drag up other than the use of Executive Orders against a previous "do nothing" Congress. History already shows George Bush used Executive Orders at about double the number of Barak Obama. The Congress would make total fools of themselves, but hate cuts off clear thinking with good reasoning. Who knows. For sure it would halt any activities in Washington for needed legislation to help the growing loss of income for middle income families. The rich now own 80% of the wealth in America. Our society was built on a dream of "opportunity for all." It is obvious to me that dream is becoming a nightmare of wealth abuse. Conservatives had their legislative power now. The big question is: WILL THEY HELP US OR HURT US MORE? I am a small business owner suffering at the hands of Recession. It started under the Bush Administration. It's genesis was many years before under the Reagan Administration. All major legislation or change is an experiment, at best. If it ain't broke, don't fix it / IF IT IS BROKE, fix it in a big hurry! |

52 seats. He could have done it without mine and my wife's votes, but I was his insurance policy.
Now I will watch him very closely, and all that he does not know about what it means to be a good Republican, he better learn fast.
