Dr. Carolyn Day a Manteo High School graduate, will be returning home to the Outer Banks as she joins Vidant General Surgery-Outer Banks located at 4810 S. Croatan Highway, Suite 250 in Nags Head.

    GREENVILLE     Dr. Carolyn Day a Manteo High School graduate, will be returning home to the Outer Banks as she joins Vidant General Surgery-Outer Banks located at 4810 S. Croatan Highway, Suite 250 in Nags Head. The practice has moved and is now located on the second floor of the Medical Office Building of The Outer Banks Hospital.

    Dr. Day is a graduate of The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville. She completed a surgery residency with the University Of Louisville Department Of Surgery. After residency, Dr Day practiced in the Louisville, Kentucky and Southern Indiana area for nearly 10 years.

    Dr. Day's areas of interest include advanced laparoscopy, surgical oncology, and upper and lower endoscopy. "I am excited to bring surgical care to a great clinical team at the Outer Banks Hospital and community," Dr. Day said. "My husband and I enjoy boating and spending time with our two children. I am looking forward to enjoying small town coastal living and taking care of patients in this community."
