Brent Walsh Respess | Eastern NC Now

    Brent Walsh Respess, 60, of Hopewell, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015.

    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Fedonia Respess; and father, Arnet Respess. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Lavich; uncle, Henry Respess; sister, Karla Viar, and her children, Avery and Olivia; brother, Mark Lavich; sister, Beryl and her husband, Morris; two aunts, Zella Davis and Thera Lane; step-daughter, Amanda StClaire, and her children, Shawn and Montana; many special friends in Pike Rd., NC; and numerous other extended family and friends.

    In his spare time, Brent, enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a faithful member of Church of Christ in Hopewell The family will receive friends from 3 pm to 5 pm on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Virginia.

    A funeral service will be conducted at 11 am on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven, NC with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Respess plots at Davis Cemetery, (Pungo) Pantego, NC.
