Candy Walker Bond | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Mary Candace "Candy" Walker Bond, age 32, a resident of 652 Third Street, Aurora, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015.

    Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Edward Christian Church in Edward, conducted by Pastor David Linton. Burial will follow in Edward Christian Church Cemetery.

    Mrs. Bond was born in Beaufort County on September 24, 1982. She was the daughter of Sue Carol Cayton Walker and the late Jesse Richard "Dicki" Walker. Mrs. Bond was a homemaker. In her spare time, she loved to sing, dance, shopping and the beach. Mrs. Bond attended Edward Christian Church.

    Mrs. Bond is survived by her husband, Johnathan Bond, Sr. of Bayboro; four children, Emily Sue Bond of the home, Anna Nicole Bond and Johnathan Bond, Jr. both of Bayboro, Kansas Marie Bond of the home; her mother, Sue Carol Cayton Walker of the home; three sisters, Gerrie Lynn Walker and Tammy Sue Walker both of Blounts Creek, Amy Lee Walker Abbott and husband, Damon of Covington, Ga.; her brother, Brian Walker of Arapahoe; her mother in law, Tammy Bond of Bayboro and many nieces and nephews.

    Mrs. Bond was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Richard "Dicki" Walker.

    The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday prior to the service at Edward Christian Church and other times at her home.
