Jesse L. Tetterton | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Jesse Leonard Tetterton, age 70, a resident of 249 Delia Wallace Road, Bath, NC died Tuesday January 20, 2015 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

    A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday January 22, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington.

    Mr. Tetterton was born in Beaufort County on April 16, 1944 son of the late Clyde Carlous Tetterton and the late Lillian Mae Keech Tetterton. He attended Bath Schools and on May 26, 1962 he married the former Sallie Ann Carrow who survives. Mr. Tetterton was a cabinet maker having worked at Singer Furniture of Chocowinity, Moss Planing Mill of Washington and Fountain Power Boats of Chocowinity. He was a member of Athens Chapel Church of Christ.

    Surviving along with his wife Sallie of the home includes a daughter: Hallie Marie Teaney and her husband Mark of Bath; a son: Carlous McCoy Tetterton and his wife Jennifer of Washington; eleven grandchildren: Bradford Austin Flowers, Brandy Renee Flowers, Carlous Tetterton, Jr., Cody Earl Tetterton, Dylan Andrew Wiggins, Jesse Ray Tetterton, Tia Lynn Tetterton, Austin Riggan, Tiffany Tetterton, Michael Preston Goldberg and Matthew Goldberg and three great grandchildren: Cassidy Dawn Wiggins, Tripp Alexandria Tetterton and Brayden Eastwood. Mr. Tetterton was preceded in death by a son: Jesse L. Tetterton, Jr. and four sisters: Nellie Jackson Tetterton, Hattie Frosine Garl, Myrtle Irene Davenport and Hallie Dean Padgett.
