The Pamlico Albemarle Wildlife Conservationist will hold their first public meeting on Saturday, March 21, 2015 to announce a new chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation.

    The Pamlico Albemarle Wildlife Conservationist will hold their first public meeting on Saturday, March 21, 2015 to announce a new chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation. Guest Speakers for the event will be: Derb Carter - Southern Environmental Law Center; Mike Bryant - Alligator River Refuge Manager; Curtis Smalling - Director Of NC Audubon and John Robbins - President Of NC Wildlife Federation

    The Pamlico Albemarle Wildlife Conservationist chapter's mission is to advocate, protect and conserve the wildlife and habitat of the Pamlico Albemarle Peninsula. The chapter will represent Beaufort, Hyde, Tyrell, Washington, Pitt, Martin Pamlico, and Dare counties and will become a new chapter of the NC Wildlife Federation.

    "Uniting with the membership and policies of the NC Wildlife Federation will help to give us a stronger voice for the protection of our natural resources has become necessary. The Pamlico Albemarle region is geographically unique for the wildlife, its habitat and the people who live here. Our intentions are to help keep our fragile environment healthy for everyone's enjoyment and for generations to come," says PAWC President Attila Nemecz.

    Everyone is invited to come learn and, hopefully, join this new effort to preserve and protect the Pamlico Albemarle region on Saturday, March 21st.
