Ronnie Gerald Barr | Eastern NC Now

    Ronnie Gerald Barr, age 68, a resident of Chocowinity, NC passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015. Mr. Barr was born in Beaufort County, NC on September 5, 1946 to the late Johnnie and Margaret Barr. He attended Beaufort County Schools.

    On December 3, 1977 he married the former Brenda Kay Hudson, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Amy Ward (Gregg) of Chocowinity, NC; Ronnie Gerald Barr, II (Selma) of Greenville, NC; grandchildren Michael Ward, Tyler Ward and Hayden Ward; sister, Margaret Ann Cofer (Larry) of Chocowinity, NC and fur babies Taco and Bell. Mr. Barr was the owner and operator of Ronnie Barr Trucking & Salvage Yard and A&R Auto Sales until his retirement. He will be remembered for his kind heart and sense of humor.

    In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brothers, Johnny Barr, Robert "Bobby" Barr and Randy Barr. He is also predeceased by his nephew "Little Johnny" Barr and his best friend, Leroy Chandler.
