Jaquay Omestic B. Hill | Eastern NC Now

    Jaquay Omestic B. Hill, age 25, a resident of Washington, NC, passed away on July 11, 2015. Mr. Hill was born in Beaufort County, NC on January 21, 1990 to Antonio McCuller and Kyesha Wiggins, who survive.

    Mr. Hill attended Southside High School where he enjoyed playing football as a defensive end, and he liked to hear the pads crack. Later, he went on to Tarheel Challenge Academy where he graduated with honors.

    In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Tyquavias McCuller of Greenville, NC; brother, Rashawn McCuller of Bridgeton, NC; step-brothers, Lamar Grimes of Edward, NC; Lindsay Grimes and Lentonio Grimes of Washington, NC; step-sister, Shontel Grimes of Bridgeton, NC. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Otis Hill (Carolyn) and maternal grandmother, Nancy Crawford; his great-grandfather, Marcel Crawford; his paternal grandfather, Willie McCuller (Joyce); his aunts, Cassandra Hill, Havilah Hill, Kim McCuller, Devesha McCuller and Ashley Glaspie; his uncles, Rikki McCuller and Parish McCuller; great-uncle, Dave McCuller and his great-aunts, Teresa Ward, Jerome Ward and Nanetta McCuller, as well as one niece, two nephews and host of cousins and friends.

    He was previously employed at Agape Clinic in Washington, NC. He was a hard worker and loved animals. He had a good heart and always put others first.

    A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Charles Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the home of his grandparents, Otis and Carolyn Hill, 312 W. 6th St., Washington, NC.
