Should the Institutionalized Corruption of the Biden /Harris Administration, in this separate instance the Open Border Policy of our Sovereign Southern Border, be not only tolerated, but sanctioned by the raising of local spending by local politicians to pay for these now visible and known effects of rampant, and out- of-control Illegal Immigration?

Born: February 7, 1936, Died: August 2, 2015

    Howard Diltz Hoagland, Jr., age 79, a resident of N. King St. in Bath, NC passed away on August 2, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

    Mr. Hoagland was born in Belmar, NJ on February 7, 1936 to the late Howard D. Hoagland, Sr. and Olga Newberry Hoagland. He attended schools in New Jersey and attended community college. He was a retired land surveyor for The Garden State Parkway, and also served his country in the National Guard. He was a member of Old Ford Church of Christ.

    He was married to Jean Marie Macklin Hoagland, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Jerry Fagg. He is survived by his children, Patrick Hoagland and wife, Margo of Greenville, NC, Brendan Hoagland and wife, Elizabeth of Bath, NC, Mairin Hoagland of Bath, NC; Caitlin Hoagland of Bath, NC; Howard Robert Hoagland and Randy Hoagland of New Jersey; Suzy Hoagland of New Jersey; Jackie Hoagland of Arizona; his grandson, Sean Hoagland; and mother-in-law, Ruth Buckman Macklin Matarazzo of Bath, NC. Also surviving is his long time buddy, his dog Mahala.

    A graveside celebration of his life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Oakdale Cemetery officiated by Eddie Bowen. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Hillside Funeral Service.
