Industrial Accident | Eastern North Carolina Now

Press Release:

    On August 7, 2015, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office received a report of an industrial accident at a business on Frederick Road in Chocowinity, NC. Chocowinity Volunteer Fire Department and Chocowinity EMS and began life saving measures.

    The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office began an investigation along with NC Department of Occupational and Safety and Health Bureau.

    David Allen Partee, age 55, of River Road in Vanceboro was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing at this time however, no foul play is suspected.
