David B. Terry, Jr. | Eastern NC Now

    David Terry, Jr., age 70, a resident of Robersonville, NC passed away peacefully on September 13, 2015 at his home surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones.

    David was born in Pitt County on August 25, 1945 to the late Thurman David and Bettie Elizabeth Meeks Terry.

    David is survived by his loving and caring wife, GeorgeAnna Spain Terry; his three children, Laurie Spain Everette and her husband Jack, Thurman David Terry (Stem) and his wife Linda (Gail), and Beryl Lee Spain and his wife Betty. He is also survived by his two sisters Carolynn Thompson and Millie Drake. David was blessed to have 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three children, Michael Lee Spain, Arlene Spain, and DeAnna Spain; and his two brothers, Lonnie Douglas Terry and Robert Lee Terry .

    A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Rehoboth Pentecostal Holiness Church, 7611 Bear Grass Rd., Williamston, NC with Lamon Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens, 12813 US-64, Williamston, NC. The family will receive friends at Rehoboth Pentecostal Holiness Church on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. and other times at the home.
