Christopher "Mark" Moore | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Christopher "Mark" Moore, age 52, a resident of 302 Oak Drive, Washington, NC died Monday September 14, 2015 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice of Greenville.

    A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday September 17, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by Steve Hill. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery of Greenville. Phil Darden, Trey Moore, Justin Moore, Dylan Moore, Chris Elks and Billy McRoy will serve as pallbearers.

    The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday September 16, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of Mark's sister Donna located at 415 Crown Drive, Washington.

    Mark was born in Beaufort County on December 8, 1962 son of Robin Reid Moore, Sr. and the late Arthur Lee Hardee Moore. He was a 1981 graduate of Washington High School and worked at his family's business, Moore Motor Company of Washington. He loved music, nature and was a former member of the Southern Dismal Wildlife Club. Mark was also a member of Wanoca Presbyterian Church of Washington.

    Surviving along with Mark's father Robin of Washington are a son: Christopher Mark Moore II; three brothers: Robin Reid Moore, Jr. and his wife Connie, Joel Leon Moore, Sr. and his wife Glenda and Phillip Glen Moore all of Washington and a sister: Donna Gwen Moore of Washington. Preceding Mark in death along with his mother Arthur Lee was a sister: Carolyn Arthur Moore.
