    Mrs. Archie Christine Cuthrell Daniels, age 90, a resident of 519 Tooley St., Belhaven, NC died Friday October 16, 2015 at Ridgewood Nursing Center of Washington.

    A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday October 18, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven officiated by Rev. Burke Holland. Burial will follow in Oddfellow Cemetery. Chuck Latham, C.N. Smith, Johnny Cuthrell, Ellis Cuthrell, Tony Harris and Vic Cox will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Christian Woman's Fellowship of First Christian Church of Belhaven.

    The family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour Sunday at the Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mrs. Daniels' son Russell W. Daniels, Jr. located at 106 Commodore Point, Belhaven.

    Mrs. Daniels was born in St. Bridges, VA on August 9, 1925 daughter of the late Herbert David Cuthrell and the late Mattie Bell Cox Cuthrell. She was a graduate of John A. Wilkinson High School. On September 13, 1947 she married Russell Winiford Daniels, Sr. who preceded her in death on May 27, 1984. She was a Sales Representative with Avon and served many people in the Belhaven and surrounding areas as their Avon Lady. Mrs. Daniels was a member of First Christian Church of Belhaven and the Christian Woman's Fellowship.

    Survivors include two sons: Russell W. "Danny" Daniels, Jr. (Del) of Goldsboro, NC and Benjamin H. Daniels (Angie Mallard) of Greenville; two sisters: Ann C. Latham of Belhaven and Iva C. Eldridge of New Bern; one brother: W.D. Cuthrell; two grandchildren: Russell Carter Daniels (Emily) and Jeffrey Clay Daniel (Andrea) and three great grandchildren: Carson Jeffrey Daniels, Anderson Clay Daniels and Russell Griffin Daniels. Mrs. Daniels was predeceased by two sisters: Lula Mae Cox and Gladys Raulerson and by three brothers: Walter, John and Curtis Cuthrell.

    Flowers are welcome and appreciated and the family kindly asks for any memorial contributions to be made to First Christian Church, P.O. Box 577, Belhaven, NC 27810.
