 Ronnie Dean Ennis, age 71, a resident of 276 Chandler Road, Vanceboro, NC, died Tuesday October 20, 2015 at his home.

 A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Sunday October 25, 2015 at Peace Chapel Church, Homesite of Shelby and Troy Ives, Barr Road Chocowinity and will be officiated by Nathaniel Hill.

 Mr. Ennis was born in Pitt County on November 10, 1943 to the late Walter Greene Ennis and Beatrice Elsie Dail Ennis. He loved the outdoors. Mr. Ennis loved to go hunting, fishing and gardening. His favorite was growing corn. Mr. Ennis was a sports fanatic including baseball and football.

 Survivors include his wife Nancy Daw Ennis, three children, Jerry Edward "Eddie" Price of Vanceboro, James, "Jimmy" Price of Chocowinity, Doris Cox of the home, five grandchildren, Richard Alan Phillips, Jessica Alexandria Price Kelley, Jimmy "Jim Jim" Price, Taylor Price, Andrew Price, three great grandchildren, Aubrey Skye Kelley, Skylar Drake Kelley, James Price, three brothers Michael Earl Ennis of Knightdale, Jimmy Ennis, Harvey Ennis both of Raleigh, one sister Mary Lou Worley of Goldsboro.

 He is preceded in death by his parents.
