    Mrs. Juanita Gaskins Mason, age 60, a resident of 37705 Highway 264 East, Belhaven, died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

    A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday March 6, 2016 at St. Clair's Church of Christ, 9814 Highway 99 South, Bath, conducted by Craig Hagen.

    The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, March 6, 2016 at St. Clair's Church of Christ and other times at her home.

    Mrs. Mason was born in Pamlico County on May 4, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Weddell Hugh Gaskins, Sr. and Charlotte Mae Grant Gaskins. Mrs. Mason was owner and operator of Waters Tire Service in Belhaven. She was a very active person. Mrs. Mason enjoyed making crafts and owned and operated the Crabby Crafter.

    Mrs. Mason was married to Phil Mason, who survives.

    Surviving with her husband are her children, Amber Ireland Williams of Washington, William David Ireland (Ginger) of Oriental, Keith Dwaine Ireland (Pennie) of Pantego, Suzanne Harrington (Paul) of Greenville; two brothers, Weddell Hugh Gaskins, Jr. and Rodney Keith Gaskins both of Radford, Va. and 12 grandchildren.
